Terry Douglas Gilkerson was born March 5, 1963 in Louisa, Kentucky, the son of Garrett D. Gilkerson and Janet Marie (Salyers) Skaggs. He was married to Rebecca Sue Ashcraft on June 1, 2015 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Mr. Gilkerson passed this life on February 23, 2017 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma at the age of 53.
He leaves to mourn his passing:
wife: Rebecca of the home
2 daughters: Terrany Gilkerson and Essie Broach, both of Michigan
3 sons: Trevon Broach, Troy Broach and Miles Broach, all of Michigan
5 grandchildren
Mother: Janet Skaggs of Poteau, OK
1 sister: Pamela Diane Kemper of Tennessee
3 brothers: Rick Gilkerson of West Virginia, Garrett Gilkerson of Greenwood, AR and Kerry Gilkerson of Sallisaw, OK
numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends
He was preceded in death by his father: Garrett D. Gilkerson and stepfather: James Skaggs
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 11 am at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw.
