Mr. Gentry was born February 16, 1940 in Asher, Oklahoma, the son of William Lafayette Gentry and Mary Stella Wilson Gentry. He was married to Glenda Mathies Gentry on May 22, 1965 in Carson City, Nevada. Mr. Gentry passed this life on October 4, 2006 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas after having attained the age of 66 years, 7 months, and 18 days. Mr. Gentry enjoyed crappie fishing and the outdoors and had a wonderful sense of humor.

Wife: Glenda of the home;
1 daughter: Cindy Bremer and Mike of Muldrow, Oklahoma;
3 sons: Mike Gentry and Alice of Sallisaw, Oklahoma;
Gunnery Sgt. Rodney Gentry and Candice of Quantico, Virginia; Glen Gentry and Shelby of Modesto, California; 10 Grandchildren: Mike Gentry, Jr., Brenden Gentry, Sara Gentry, Ashley Reese-Tuck, Greg Reese,
Tyler Gentry, Sarah Grace Gentry, Michael Burnett, Codie Burnett,
Madison Burnett; 1 Great Granddaughter: Gracie Tuck;
1 Sister: Ellen Melton of Red Oak, California; Several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Kenneth and Charlie and 1 sister, Margie. |
