Katie Lou Garner was born July 7, 1931 in Mulberry, Arkansas, the daughter of James Luke Battles and Ozella Huggins Battles. She was married to Rev. Harold Hunter Garner on July 7, 1947 in Martinez, California. He preceded her in death on January 14, 2002 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Mrs. Garner was a homemaker. She passed this life on February 9, 2012 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas after having attained the age of 80 years, 7 months and 2 days.
