Dwight W. "Fergie" Ferguson, 77, of Vian, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, December 19, 2016 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He was born on September 6, 1939 in Las Vegas, Nevada, the son of Alan Webb Ferguson and Marian (Ralston) Ferguson. He was married to Jo Ann Joyal on January 14, 1983 in La Quinta, CA. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a successful general contractor who built a construction business on his welding trade.

2 nieces: Nita Roper of Alma, AR and Teri Ferguson of Norman, OK
2 great nephews: Eric Minden of Bentonville, AR and Jason Minden of Ft. Smith, AR
1 brother in law: Norman and Sue Joyal of Concord, CA
1 sister in law: Carol and Fred Pope of Trabuco Canyon, CA
3 nephews: Blaine Pope of Trabuco Canyon, CA, Kenney Joyal of Concord, CA and Kyle Joyal of Concord, CA
1 niece: Kristen Joyal of Concord, CA
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at 10 am at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
Honorary Pallbearers are Dr. Ed Moroney and Larry Hickman
