Sophia Marie (Barnes) English was born October 15, 1926 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, the daughter of Noah Dallas Barnes and Gloda Lee (Long) Barnes. She married J.D. English on August 7, 1948 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on May 14, 2001 in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Mrs. English passed this life on August 11, 2010 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas after having attained the age of 83 years, 9 months and 27 days.

2 sons: Richard and Rhonda English of Dora, Oklahoma
Dick and Carolyn English of Sallisaw, Ok.
2 granddaughters: Ginger Wagh of Dallas, Tx.
and Melody English of Van Buren, Ar.
