Eugene F. Emberton was born October 19, 1922 in Akins, Oklahoma the son of George W. and Katie (McCuen) Emberton. He was married to Faye Louise Beller on June 11, 1949 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. She preceded him in death on November 16, 2014. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, retired bookkeeper for Northside Construction and a member of Mineral Springs Freewill Baptist Church. Mr. Emberton passed this life on May 15, 2017 in Muldrow, Oklahoma at the age of 94.

and Carolyn and Mike McKinney
1 son and daughter in law: Lyndon and Gaylene Emberton
4 grandchildren: Angela Gleason, Alyson Prewett, Aaron Emberton and wife Carrie and Matthew McKinney
4 great grandchildren: Garrett Gleason, Braden Gleason, Elizabeth Emberton and Ella Emberton
He was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Emberton; his parents, George and Katie Emberton; 3 brothers, William, Perry, and Robert Emberton; and 1 sister, Viola Duty
Funeral service will be Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 10 am at Mineral Springs Freewill Baptist Church in Muldrow. Burial will be a Akins Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Muldrow.
Visitation will be Tuesday from noon - 8 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow. The family will greet from 6 - 8 pm at the funeral home.
