Emogene Ely was born April 26, 1929 in Muldrow, Oklahoma, the daughter of Willie Butler and Elvira Daws Butler. She was married to Haskell Ely on January 3, 1946 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on June 26, 1972. Mrs. Ely passed this life on October 30, 2009 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma after having attained the age of 80 years, 6 months and
4 days.
