Shirley Lee Ellis was born May 27, 1945 in Sallisaw, Ok., the daughter of James Ernest Ross and Letha Sylvia Pierce Ross. She was married to Charles Ellis. He preceded her in death on April 23, 2007. Mrs. Ellis was retired from Blue Ribbon Downs where she worked as a racing secretary and was a member of Eastside Baptist Church. She passed this life on June 25, 2010 in Sallisaw, Ok. after having attained the age of 65 years and 28 days.
Survivors are:
2 daughters: Lisa Scott of Cookson, Ok.
and Tiffany Lenington of Owasso, Ok.
1 son: Nathen Ellis of Sallisaw, Ok.
1 grandchild
