Cleo Ellis was born February 22, 1921 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, the daughter of Bud Bethel Fitzsimmons and Alice Hesterann Maulden Fitzsimmons. She married Wesley William Ellis, Jr. on November 26, 1938 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death in 1984. Mrs. Ellis passed this life on July 8, 2012 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas after having attained the age of 91 years, 4 months and 16 days.
