Mr. Fred Benjamin Elkins was born August 4, 1937 in Monticello, Arkansas, the son of
John Paul Elkins and Jessie Elkins. He married Fran I. Dyer Elkins on November 7, 1972 in Poteau, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death on September 21, 2007 in Gans, Oklahoma.
Mr. Elkins passed this life on February 26, 2008 in Gans, Oklahoma after having
attained the age of 70 years, 6 months and 22 days
He leaves to mourn his passing:
1 daughter: Patricia Ann Elkins of Columbia, South Carolina;
1 son: Fred B. Elkins, Jr. of Van Buren, Arkansas;
1 grandson: Joseph Elkins and wife Karah of Van Buren, Arkansas;
3 great grandchildren: KayLeigh JoAnn McCarville, Kamron Lee Elkins,
and Christopher Alan Elkins;
1 half brother: John Elkins of Pine Bluff, Arkansas;
several other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife Fran in September of 2007;
and his parents: John Paul and Jessie Elkins. | |
