G. Lucille (Howard) Edwards was born on September 2, 1921 in Hector, Arkansas, the daughter of Charley Elmer Howard and Mary LaVina Rowland Howard. She was married to Edmond Leon Edwards on May 14, 1944 in Reno, Nevada while Edmond was in the U.S. Navy and She was in Radio School. He preceded her in death on June 5, 1991. Mrs. Edwards was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church since 1940, where she held several offices. She taught 3rd and 4th grand Sunday School class for 38 years. She loved her Sunday School class and United Methodist Women. She passed this life on September 4, 2017 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas at the age of 96.

4 sons and 2 daughters in law: Burl Gene Edwards of Muldrow, OK,
Howard Ray and Julie Edwards of Muldrow, OK,
James Edmond and Jeannie Edwards of Van Buren, AR and
Larry Don and Joyce Edwards of Muldrow, OK
11 grandchildren: Toka, Denise, Kenny, Ray, Brad, Nikki, Kendall, Casey, Christie, Brian, and Cristie
20 great grandchildren
5 great great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and 2 brothers: J.T. and Paul Howard
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Cottonwood Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Muldrow, Oklahoma.
Active pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
Viewing will be 10 am - 8 pm Wednesday at Trinity United Methodist Church in Muldrow, OK where the family will greet 6 - 8 pm.
