Clyde Edgmon was born December 17, 1931 in McKey community, Oklahoma, the son of Hez Edgmon and Dona Belle Bynum Edgmon. He was married to Peggy Joyce Wortheam on May 3, 1954 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Mr. Edgmon passed this life on November 13, 2015 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas at the age of 83. Survivors are: wife: Peggy of the home 1 daughter and son in law: Deborah and Mark Hood of Brushy comm., Oklahoma 2 sons and 1 daughter in law: Craig Edgmon of McKey comm., Oklahoma and Drew and Kelly Edgmon of Brushy comm., Oklahoma 4 grandchildren: Anthony Hood, Lindsay Choate, Dustin Edgmon and Walker Hez Edgmon 4 great grandchildren: ShayLee Choate, Kace Choate, Kinzlee Smith and Austin Edgmon several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant sister and 2 brothers: Clarence and Clint Edgmon Funeral service will be Monday at 10 am at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw. Burial will be at Buffington Cemetery. Viewing will be Sunday 2 - 8 pm at the funeral home. Active Pallbearers are Johnny Simons, Glen Young, Gary Young, Jimmy Adams, roger Edgmon and Craig F. Edgmon. Honorary Pallbearers are Dee Dodson, Artho Covington, Wyatt Dobbs, Scott Dobbs, and Wayne Brown.
