Cecil F. Edgmon was born May 27, 1920 in the McKey Community, Ok., the son of Frank Edgmon and Bertha Bell Edgmon. He was married to Leona Mae Byers on May 27, 1943 in Sallisaw, Ok. She preceded him in death on October 11, 1990. Mr. Edgmon was an Army veteran during World War II and Korean War. He retired from Hunts Department Store as store manager and from Holley Carburetor. He received his Associates Degree from Carl Albert State College and was an Elder at First Presbyterian Church He passed this life on Oct. 10, 2006 in Ft. Smith, Ar.

2 sons and daughters in law: Roger M. and Deborah Edgmon of Sallisaw, Ok. and
Craig F. and Betty Edgmon of Sallisaw, Ok.
3 grandsons: Craig F. Edgmon, II and his wife, Melanie,
Bill D. Edgmon and Michael W. Edgmon
1 granddaughter: Larissa A. Edgmon
1 great grandchild: Sody F. Edgmon
1 sister: Flora Darby of Roswell, New Mexico

Mr. Edgmon was preceded in death by his wife, parents, 5 brothers: Otho, Roy,
Hoyt, Virgil and Jack and 2 sisters: Marie and Roxie |
