Helen (Pinkerton) Drake, 83, passed away on May 10, 2016 in Edmond, Oklahoma. She was born on jUly 19, 1932 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Kathleen (Holder) Pinkerton and Watie Pinkerton, graduated Sallisaw High School in 1949 and married Charles Drake in September of 1950.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Charles Drake. She is survived by two daughters, Kathy Caldwell and husband Ronnie and Charlene Melius and husband Dale, all of Edmond, OK; one sister, Barbara Harvell and husband Jim of Grove, OK; 5 granddaughters, Keri Hobgood and husband Keith, Kasha Edwards and husband Daniel, Chelsea Bradshaw and husband Ryan, Carly Freeman and husband Brian, and Daley Mendel and husband Travis; and 6 great grandchildren, Skyler and Colton Jones, Carder Freeman, Brody Bradshaw, Hartlee Edwards, and Charlie Mendel, all of Edmond, OK.
Funeral service will be Friday, May 13, 2016 at 2 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will be at Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
