Mrs. Dobbs was born June 12, 1932 in Campbell, Missouri, the daughter of Ralph Irby
and Ninnie Jewel (Bateman) Irby. She was a graduate of Rector High School in Rector, Ark.
She was married to Orville Harold Dobbs on October 30, 1953 in Pontiac, Michigan.
Mrs. Dobbs was a retired telephone operator and bookkeeper for Dobbs Equipment.
She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Sallisaw, Ok. She was always active in
her church and the church choir and played the organ and piano when she attended
McKey Baptist Church and Immanuel Baptist Church. She also served as church secretary
for Rev. John Ewart at Immanuel Baptist Church. Mrs. Dobbs was active in the 4H programs and was the former leader of the McKey 4H club. She was the recipient of the Volunteer of the Year award. Mrs. Dobbs passed this life on June 28, 2008 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma after having attained the age of 76 years and 16 days.

5 grandchildren: Adyson, Adam and Ali Holt and Ashlyn and Mason Dobbs

1 brother and sister in law: Devaun and Dorothy Irby of St. Louis, Missouri
1 nephew: Gary Irby
1 niece: Gail DiSilvester
2 great nieces: Laura and Sarah
