Richard Dirtseller was born July 14, 1949 in Vian, Oklahoma, the son of Carrie Dirtseller. He was married to Lizzie Morris. She preceded him in death on December 9, 2015. Mr. Dirtseller was a construction worker and a member of Stokes Smith Ceremonial Grounds. He passed this life on February 25, 2016 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 66.

4 daughters and 2 sons in law: Nance and Jim Sequichie of Sallisaw, OK,
Brenda and Gary Byrd of Muldrow, OK, Connie Byrd of Muldrow, OK and Joanne Smith of Vian, OK
7 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren
3 sisters: Sarah Kirkland of Tahlequah, OK, Marie Taulbee of Oklahoma City, OK and Barbara Pettit of Vian, OK
3 brothers: Rider Dirtseller of Sisseton, South Dakota, John Dirtseller of Tulsa, Ok and Daniel Locust of Vian, OK
several nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 29, 2016 at McCoy Evening Shade Cemetery in Vian, Oklahoma.
Active pallbearers will be Members of Stokes Smith Ceremonial Grounds.
Viewing will be 10 am - 8 pm Saturday and 2-8 pm Sunday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK.
