Billy Gene Denney, 89, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma passed away July 16, 2016 in Sallisaw. He was born January 3, 1927 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma the son of Robert Denney and Edith (Weaver) Martin. He married Norma Louise Morton on June 6, 1963 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mr. Denney was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII, a truck driver, a member of the American Legion Post 27 and of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Denney; mother, Edith (Weaver) Martin; and step father,Raymond Martin
Funeral service is Thursday, July 21, 2016 at 1 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
Viewing is Tuesday 4 - 8 pm and Wednesday 10 am - 8 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw. The family will greet Wednesday from 6 - 8 pm.
