Immon Joe Day was born January 23, 1933 in Hope Prairie community, Oklahoma, the son of Sheb Day and Meady (Rose) Day. He was married to Pattie Sue Fargo on October 16, 1951 in Van Buren, Arkansas. SHe preceded him in death on December 29, 2001 in Muldrow, OK. Mr. Day passed this life on May 18, 2010 in Muldrow, OK after having attained the age of 77 years, 3 months and 25 days.

1 daughter: Linda Rupe of Ft. Smith, Arkansas
2 sons and 1 daughter in law: Harvey Day of Muldrow, OK
Dennis and Sharon Day of Sallisaw, OK
9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren
1 brother: Gene Day of Sallisaw, OK
