LaVenia Simmons Davis was born January 2, 1928 in Holdenville, Oklahoma, the daughter of Joseph Kelly Simmons and Lilly Pearl Pack Simmons. She married V. Freman Davis on March 28, 1948 in Anadarko, Oklahoma. Mrs. Davis passed this life on August 15, 2009 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma after having attained the age of 81 years, 7 months and 13 days.
