Mrs. Hester Davis was born April 17, 1916 in Brushy community, Oklahoma, the daughter of Thomas Jefferson Davis and Mary Elizabeth Waters Davis. She married Jerry Preston Davis, Sr. on September 12, 1929 in Bunch, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on November 25, 1995 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Mrs. Davis passed this life on May 28, 2009 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas after having attained the age of 93 years, 1 month and 11 days.
