Mr. Daily was born April 6, 1939 in Cherokee County, Oklahoma, the son of Earnest Daily and Mary Mannon Daily. He was married to Bertie Marie Daily on December 5, 1957 in Stigler, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death on August 14, 2001 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Mr Daily was retired from the State of Oklahoma as a grounds keeper at Greenleaf State Park after 25 years of service. He enjoyed his church, his lord, his family, and hunting & fishing. He passed this life on April 6, 2007 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas after having attained the age of
68 years.
Survivors are:
Wife: Pat of the home;
2 sons and 1 daughter-in-law: J.E. Dailyof Gore, Ok., and
Carroll and Kathy Daily of Gore, Ok.;
5 grandchildren: Michael Daily, April Smith and husband Derek Smith,
Kade, Baily, and Marcus Daily;
3 sisters: Pearl Walden of Gore, Ok., Joyce Prince of Gore, Ok., and
Sue Smith of Blackgum, Ok.;
Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Earnest and Mary Daily, his wife of 43 years: Bertie Daily and a son: Harold Gene.
