Mary Ellen Cupp, 74, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2017 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. She was born October 11, 1942 in Vian, Oklahoma the daughter of Heaver and Willie Mae (Gritts) Smith. She retired from Cherokee Nation as a cook.
Survivors are:
4 daughters: Deborah Francis and Jeff of Hindsville, AR, Carmen Cupp and Debbie of Moore, OK,
DeJuna Frye and Brent McDonald of Sallisaw, OK, and Jennifer Gonzalez and Luis of Manhattan, KS
2 sons: Ronald Baldwin and Trish of Sallisaw, OK and Jonathon Cupp of Sallisaw, OK
7 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren
1 sister: Sally Smith of Vian, OK
1 brother: James Smith of Schulter, OK
several nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends
She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 sons: Kenneth Baldwin, Terry Baldwin, Johnny Cupp and Everett Baldwin Jr., 8 siblings and 1 aunt: Katherine "L.C." Baker
Funeral service will be Friday, June 30, 2017 at 2 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will be at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
Viewing will be Thursday from 10 am - 8 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw. The family will greet from 6 - 8 pm at the funeral home.
