Connie Cupp was born August 2, 1925 in Vian, Oklahoma, the son of Frank Cupp and Leona Dotson Cupp. He married Freda Choate on Sep. 20, 1944 in Marble City, OK. She passed this life on Sep. 24, 1996. From Connie Freda's devoted marriage, they were blessed with 3 children: Connie Gail and Henry Harris of Marble City, OK, Kathy and Vernon McGrew of Muldrow, OK, and George Mack and Donna Ann Cupp of Sallisaw, OK; 10 grandchildren: Chris, Raymond, Jeffrey and Joe Doug Harris, Kasey Grant, Brandy Blair, Ray McGrew, Cherokee Pelican, Trenten McGrew and Steven Schielke, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
On August 8, 2000, Connie was blessed with extending his family when he married Marie Nixon and welcomed 4 children: Donna McKinney of Purcell, OK, Debbie and Richard Hurst of Keota, OK and Doretha and Troy Tinnin of Sallisaw, OK., and Doug and Shawna Nixon of Red Oak, OK; 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren
He is also survived by: 3 sisters: Ruth Gibson of Bartlesville, OK, Gussie Crawson of Dwight Mission, OK and Nada Crawson of Vian, OK and 1 brother: Dave Cupp of McAlester, OK and a host of other relatives and friends who have all become a part of his loving family
He was preceded in death by his wife: Freda,
his parents, 4 sisters: Maxine, Naomi, Willie and Florence and 1 brother: Carnell
Mr. Cupp passed this life on March 5, 2013 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas at the age of 87. | |
