Louise Cox, 90, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, June 25, 2017 in Sallisaw. She was born May 31, 1927 in Dustin, Oklahoma, the daughter of James Albert Tomlin and Bessie Afton (Brown) Tomlin. She was a former motel manager, check out supervisor, and employee at Sequoyah County Health Department, she built, owned and operated Pier 7 and worked at Gans School. Her hobbies were quilting and photography.

Survivors are:

1 son and daughter in law: Charles and Karen Price of Pasadena, TX

2 daughters and 1 son in law: Phyllis and Gary Moore of Russellville, AR and Angela Cox of Sallisaw, OK

9 grandchildren: Luke Cox, Pamela Lasiter, Charlie Price, Joey Price, Danette Thomas, Bobby Ray Ammons, Dusty Ammons, Michael Graham, and Aftin Graham

13 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren

numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends

She was preceded in death by 1 son, Anthony Cox; parents, James and Bessie Tomlin; 2 sisters, Joyce McAlister and Juanita Shockey; and 2 brothers, James Alfred Tomlin and Eugene Tomlin

Funeral service is Thursday, June 29, 2017 at 10 am at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sallisaw City Cemetery.

Viewing is Tuesday from 2 - 8 pm and Wednesday from 10 am - 8 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw. The family will greet Wednesday from 6 - 8 pm at the funeral home.

Active Pallbearers are Luke Cox, Dusty Ammons, Bobby Ray Ammons, Joey Price, Michael Graham and Charlie Price
