Imojean (Stites) Copeland was born November 25, 1923 in Sequoyah County, Oklahoma the daughter of John Thomas "Tom" Stites and Lessie (Curl) Stites. She was married to J.R. "Mann" Copeland on February 5, 1943 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on March 25, 2016 in Sallisaw. Mrs. Copeland was a seamstress, baby sitter, homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Sallisaw. She passed this life on June 13, 2016 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma at the age of 92.
She leaves to mourn her passing:

2 sons and daughters in law: Murel and Lynn Copeland of Sallisaw, OK
and Hayes and Kathy Copeland of Sallisaw, OK
8 grandchildren: Elaine Lee, Brian Lee, Rodney Copeland, Bryan Brauser, Deborah Brauser, Spencer Morris, Jessie Morris and Ann Cullum
13 great grandchildren: Hunter Lee and wife Brittany, Tucker Lee, Kaleigh Sanders and husband John, Kandi Copeland, Chloe Copeland, Trenton Morris, Peyton Morris, Kaleb Clark, Bethany Randolph, Brayden Cullum, Garrett Cullum, Trevor Brauser and David Brauser
2 brothers: Ed Stites of Sallisaw, OK and Don Stites of Sallisaw, OK

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.R. "Mann" Copeland; her parents, John Thomas "Tom" Stites and Lessie (Curl) Stites; 2 sisters: Margaret Davidson and Verna Lindsey; and 5 brothers, Ted, J.T., Charles, Herbert, and Doug Stites
Funeral service will be Friday, June 17, 2016 at 10 am at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw. Burial will be at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian, Oklahoma.
Active Pallbearers will be her nephews
Viewing will be Wednesday 2 - 8 pm and Thursday 10 am - 8 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw. The family will greet Thursday from 6 - 8 pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church in Sallisaw and Watts Holiness Church Building Fund
