Obituary

Alvin Leroy Collison was born January 1, 1927 in Winchester, Illinois, the son of John Collison and Mabel (Dickens) Collison.  He married Shirley Rae (Harris) Collison on October 16, 1950 in Lewiston, Illinois.   Mr. Collison, formerly of Peoria, Illinois, was retired from Caterpillar Tractor Company, a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII and of the Methodist faith.  He was a life member of Joseph Robbins Masonic Lodge #930 in Bartonville, Illinois, a member of the Scottish Rite Consistory, Valley of Peoria Chapter, 32nd degree Shriner and a lifetime member of the VFW in Creve Coeur, Illinois. He passed this life on April 11, 2012 in Muldrow, Oklahoma.

Al loved life, loved to laugh, and loved his family.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors.  His laughter will be missed by all that knew him.

Survivors are:

wife: Shirley of the home

1 daughter and son in law: Kimberlee Sue and Gerald Wilson of Muldrow, OK

3 grandsons: Clinton Lee Wilson of Houston, TX, George KennethWilson of Ft. Smith, AR,

and Stephen Wade Wilson and wife Tanya of Ft. Smith, AR

5 great grandchildren: Stephen, Brock, Miranda, Kendell and Alaina

3 sisters: Lecie King of Winchester, IL, Sue Milliken of North Carolina,

and Edith Kennedy of Winchester, IL

Several other relatives and friends including,
 Jim Edwards of Sallisaw, OK and Toni Lowell of Roland, OK
 whose love and help has been considered to be a true blessing.

He was preceded in death by his parents: John and Mabel Collison, 3 sisters: Katherine Bracket, Lena Winningham and
 Ethel Martin and 3 brothers: Robert, Merrill, and Gilford Collison
