Burton Leon Cheek was born December 7, 1939 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, the son of Benjamin Franklin "Ben" Cheek Sr. and Louie (Burton) Cheek. He was married to Emogene Hines on February 16, 1963 in Stilwell, Oklahoma. Mr. Cheek passed this life on May 6, 2017 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma at the age of 77.

Funeral service is Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at 10 am at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will be at Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
Viewing will be Monday from 1 - 8 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw. The family will greet from 6 - 8 pm at the funeral home.
