Virginia Juanita Chandler was born July 19, 1935 in Redland, Oklahoma the daughter of Roy and Ruby (Haywood) Brown. She married Leonard Chandler in 1952 and he preceded her in death on May 16, 2005 She passed this life on May 13, 2017 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas at the age of 81.
She leaves to mourn her passing:
3 daughters: Gail Vessell of Muldrow, OK, Sonya Quillin of Gurdon, AR,
and Lisa Rice of Alma, AR
2 sons: Stevie Lee Chandler of Muldrow, OK, and Brian Chandler of Roland, OK
11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren
1 brother: Leroy Brown of Kansas City, KS
She was preceded in death by husband, L.D. Chandler; son, Gary Don Chandler; her parents, Roy and Ruby Brown; 3 sisters, Bernice Moore, Patsy Hughes, and Nina Russell; and 1 brother, Damon Brown
Funeral service is Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 1 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will be at Gans Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Muldrow.
Viewing will be Tuesday from noon - 8 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow. The family will greet from 6 - 8 pm at the funeral home.
