May Dean Caudle, 87, of Vian, Oklahoma passed away Monday, June 26, 2017 in Vian. She was born February 8, 1930 in Conway, Arkansas, the daughter of James Morgan and Josephine (Griggs) Gwatney. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Survivors are:
4 daughters: Betty Mabe and Richard of Muskogee, OK, Faye Walters and Ricky of Vian, OK, Debra Deckard and Larry of Tahlequah, OK, and Roxie Noble and Nathan of Roland, OK
4 sons: Carl Caudle and Diane of Muskogee, OK, Carlin Caudle of Muskogee, OK, donald Caudle and Laura of Poteau, OK, and John Caudle of Vallejo, CA
19 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchild
numerous other relatives and friends
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Caudle; second husband, Joshua Christy; 2 sons, Arlin and Tommy Caudle; her parents, James Morgan and Josephine Gwatney; and her twin brother
Funeral service is Thursday, June 29, 2017 at 2 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
