Thomas M. Casteel, 75, of Vian, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, October 31, 2016 in Gore, Oklahoma. He was born December 20, 1940 in Stilwell, Oklahoma the son of Ermon Harvey Casteel and Mary Ola (Buckner) Casteel. He was married to Glenda Carol Owens on September 12, 1968 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mr. Casteel was an electrician, U.S. Navy Veteran and a Baptist.

3 sons: Scott Casteel and wife, Kim of Cameron, OK, Ron Casteel and wife, Mindy of Vian, OK, and Robert Casteel and wife, Melissa of Vian, OK
11 grandchildren: Jamie, Nick, Zach, Riley, Cody, Dakota, Bobbie, Rebekah, Shyann, Cynthia and Natalie
6 great grandchildren and 1 on the way
1 sister: Lily Wood of Modesto, CA
3 brothers: Junior Casteel of Alma, AR, Roy Casteel of Stilwell, OK, and Sam Casteel of Vian, OK
numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ermon and Mary Castell; 1 son, Brian Bressman; and 2 brothers, Glen and John Casteel
Funeral service is Thursday, November 3, 2016 at 10 am at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Vian, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
Viewing is Wednesday from 10 am - 8 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw. The family will greet Wednesday from 6 - 8 pm at the funeral home.
