Joyce Kay Baty Cason, 67 of Gans, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, December 3, 2015 in Gans, Oklahoma. She was born December 4, 1947 in Pumpkin Holler, Cherokee County, Oklahoma, the daughter of Mary Etta Gresham Baty and Alfred Hugh Baty. She married Nathan Samuel "Skip" Cason, Jr. on November 9, 1977 in OKlahoma City, Oklahoma. Mrs. Cason was owner and operator of Joyce's Produce, east of Sallisaw and one of Jehovah's Witness.

3 sons: James Cason of Muldrow, OK, James N. Cason of the home and Jaden Cason of the home
6 grandchildren: Richard Reeder, Amber Richmeir, Clayton Barker, Brittany Barker, Nathan Barker and Owen Barker
4 great grandchildren: Jonathan West, Audrey West, William Good, and Terry Richmier
2 sisters: Freda Keith of Houston, Texas and Treva Laird of Houston, Texas
2 brothers: Jim Baty of Sallisaw, OK, Lloyd Baty of Montgomery, Texas
several nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends
She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 daughter: Sally Morgan,
2 sisters: Janice Gray and Ferrell Renfro, and 4 brothers: Gordon, Bob, Dale and Wayne Baty
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 7, 2015 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, OK.
Burial will follow at Akins Cemetery, northeast of Sallisaw, OK.
Active pallbearers will be family.
Viewing will be 10 am - 8 pm Saturday and 2 - 8 pm Sunday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK.
