Jackie Ray "Jack" Caseboldt of Vian, OK died peacefully on April 23, 2017 with his family and loved ones at his bedside.  Jack was born to Jim and Emma (McCoy) Caseboldt in Tahlequah, OK on November 6, 1940.  He was very proud of his Cherokee Heritage.  Jack was the oldest of four children.  He was raised at Pinhook Corner and attended Vian Schools.  He played football with the Wolverines and graduated with the class of 1960.  Jack earned a degree in Auto Mechanics from Okmulgee Tech.  He married Evelyn "Tootsie" Williams in September 1962 and settled in Gore.  Jack and Tootsie had two children, Jackie Ray Caseboldt, Jr., and Carmella (Caseboldt) Murray.  Jack loved to travel and camp with his family and fish and hunt with his buddies.  Tootsie passed away on March 23, 1995.   Jack later met and married Theresa Dreadfulwater on August 13, 2012.  After retiring, Jack loved to take long drives down the backroads of Sequoyah and Cherokee counties, stopping and visiting friends and relatives while on those many journeys.

Jack is survived by his wife Theresa Caseboldt of the home, children Jackie Ray, Jr., and wife Shannon of Sapulpa and Carmella Murray of Gore;  grandchildren Trey Caseboldt of Norman and Taylor Caseboldt, wife Lauren and their son Cameron, of Sapulpa;  and Nicholas, Nicole and Summit Murray of Gore.  He is also survived by two sisters, Ruby Mannon and Crystal "Dee" Carter of Vian and one brother, Jimmy Caseboldt of Vian.  Jack's step children Henrietta Dreadfulwater and Anthony Dreadfulwater, step grandchildren Aiyana, Charlotte, Tristan and Kelly, many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends also mourn his passing.

Jack's funeral service will be Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Gore, Oklahoma.    He will be buried next to Tootsie at White Chapel Cemetery.  Active pallbearers will be Trey and Taylor Caseboldt, Nicholas and Summit Murray, Shawn Mannon and Anthony Dreadfulwater.  Honorary pallbearers will be Raymond Baggett, Orville Spears, and Ben and David Hust.

Viewing will be 1 – 8 p.m. Tuesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Gore, Oklahoma where the family will greet 6 – 8 p.m.
