Joe Carter was born February 19, 1942 in Seminole, Ok., the son of Ed Raymond Carter and Ophal D. Smith Carter. He was married to Linda Floyd on February 17, 1978 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Mr. Carter passed this life on August 4, 2008 in Muldrow, Oklahoma after having attained the age of 66 years, 5 months and 15 days.
