George Daniel "Pete" Carter was born May 14, 1932 in Claremore, Oklahoma, the son of A.E. Carter and Callie Thomas Carter. He married Betty Sue Fields Carter on July 28, 1951 in Van Buren, Arkansas. She preceded him in death on August 29, 1999 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Mr. Carter passed this life on August 24, 2009 in Gore, Oklahoma after having attained the age of 77 years, 3 months and 10 days.

2 daughters: Kim Allen of Colcord, Ok.

5 grandchildren: Amity Sparks, Jason Carter,
