Jerry Lee Carson was born April 20, 1938 in Lavaca, Arkansas, the son of William Roy Carson and Ethel Johnston Carson. Jerry was a son, brother, husband, father, father-in-law, grandpa, uncle, the list goes on and on. He was raised in California, the place he called home for many years, where he chose to raise his family, which began with 7 kids, and grew to include many grandkids and great grandkids. He worked hard to support his big family and loved what he did. When he decided to retire, which was a hard decision for him to make, he made his final home in Muldrow, Oklahoma with Tina, better known as Carson Hill. While driving from state to state, running on the CB handle of bronk buster, he was always getting into some sort of mischief. Whether it was riding his motorcycle, his horse, or his beloved big rigs, he lived his life to the fullest and lived a great life. Family was very important to him. He worried and thought of his family a lot, always calling to check on them to make sure they were doing well, and say "hi" or "Happy Birthday", and of course to give us a piece of his mind. That was his way of showing his love for all. Even his friends saw that side of him, since he kept them so close, he considered them family. Being able to sit with him and listen to his stories will forever say with us. Whether he made you laugh, cry or turn red, they were great stories and everyone loved to hear them. He touched so many lives and will forever be remembered for the great man his was. Mr. Carson passed this life on September 28, 2012 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas at the age of 74.
