Felix Baca Carrillo
March 19, 1926 - July 1, 2016
Felix Baca Carrillo of Yermo, CA passed away on July 1, 2016. He was born in La Joya, New Mexico on March 19, 1926. Felix Carrillo graduated La Joya School. He was married to Berlie Warren Carrillo on March 22, 1949. Felix worked at Yermo Marine Logistics Base as a Heavy Equipment Operator for 33 years. He was also a member of the American Legion and had a passion for art. He was preceded in death by his wife, Berlie; son, Calvin Smithson; and his daughter, Sandra Chavez.
He is survived by Gales Smithson of Silver Springs, NV; Deborah Shields of Yermo, CA; Meliton Carrillo of Sugarland, TX; Denise Mitchell of Pendleton, OR, and by 17 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 30 great-great grandchildren, and 25 great-great-great grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 10 am at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
