Elva Taylor Cargill was born November 19, 1910 in Sequoyah county, Oklahoma, the daughter of Lester Taylor and Maude (Chancey) Taylor. She married James Sebert Cargill on July 8, 1928 in Van Buren, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on July 17, 1961 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Mrs. Cargill passed this life on September 18, 2010 in Vian, Oklahoma after having attained the age of 99 years, 9 months and 29 days.
