Norma Jean Cannon was born October 5, 1946 in Drakes Prairie community, Oklahoma, the daughter of Frank James Breashears and Plura Lorene Ray Breashears. She married Charles Luther Cannon on April 5, 1969 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on October 31, 2002 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Mrs. Cannon was a graduate of Sallisaw High School and received her Bachelors degree in Sociology from Northeastern State University. She was a retired social worker from Oklahoma State Department of Health and a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Mrs. Cannon passed this life on May 1, 2011 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma after having attained the age of 64 years, 6 months and 26 days.
