Veda Waters Caldwell was born July 1, 1924 in Tamaha, Oklahoma, the daughter of John Oscar Waters and Nellie (Jackson) Waters. She married Rev. Lee "Sonny" Caldwell on July 30, 1940 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on December 26, 2002 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Mrs. Caldwell passed this life on January 8, 2010 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma after having attained the age of 85 years, 6 months and 7 days.
