William August "Bill" Branstner, 76, of Nicut, Oklahoma, passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2015 in NIcut. He was born July 22, 1939 in Bertha, Minnesota to August and Julia Branstner. He served in the United States Navy from 1958 - 1962. He was a member of IBEW Local 340 in Sacramento and transferred to Local 700 in Ft. Smith, AR. He married Glenda Curry on July 6, 1962 in Woodland, California.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Glenda Branstner; daughter, Orpha Morgan of Greenwood, AR; sons, Wade Branstner of Fayetteville, AR and Jason Branstner of Conway, AR; 4 grandchildren, Andrew Morgan, Megan Morgan, William Branstner and Sean Branstner; and one great grandson, Asher Morgan.
He was also blessed in life by 12 sisters, 2 brothers and multitude of additional family and friends across the country.
The family will host an open house celebration of his life at his home in Nicut, Oklahoma on Friday, December 4, 2015 from 5 - 7 pm.
