Obituary



Mr. Charles L. Brackett was born May 3, 1932 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, the son of Ira Clark Brackett, Sr. and Nettie Iretta (Sparks) Brackett.  He was married to Mary Maxine Rich on July 15, 1949 in Seminole, Texas.  Mr. Brackett was a graduate of Wellman, Tx. High School and Carver Chiropractic College. He practiced as a chiropractor until he began his ministry with the Church of Christ in 1956. He served as Minister and Evangelist worldwide and was a member of the Church of Christ in Porter, Ok.  Mr. Brackett passed this life on November 18, 2009 in Muskogee, Oklahoma after having attained the age of 77 years, 6 months and 13 days.


Survivors are:

wife of 60 years: Maxine of the home

2 sons and daughters in law:
Gary and Eileen Brackett of Canon City, Co.
and Terry and Cindy Brackett of Porter, Ok.

4 grandchildren: Peter and Andrew Brackett,
Tricia Rice and Caryn Powers

8 great grandchildren

2 brothers and sisters in law:
Roy and Nancy Brackett of Cookson, Ok.
and Perry and Juanita Brackett of Cookson, Ok.

several nieces, nephews, cousins
and other relatives and friends


He was preceded in death by
2 brothers: Gerald Glen Brackett and Ira Brackett, Jr.
