Lela Blackburn was born May 2, 1929 in Ft. Coffee, Oklahoma, the daughter of Coy Jackson and Stella (Corbin) Jackson. She married Arthur Y. Blackburn on August 19, 1947 in Jackson, California. He preceded her in death on February 20, 1994 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Mrs. Blackburn passed this life on August 20, 2010 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma after having attained the age of 81 years, 3 months and 18 days.
