Wanda Sue (Hutchings) Bennett, 77, of Vian, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, June 15, 2017 in Leavenworth, Kansas. She was born March 23, 1940 in Vian, Oklahoma the daugher of William Garrett Hutchings and Era (Casey) Hutchings. She was married to Robert Harold Bennett on August 31, 1958 in Vian, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on june 11, 2016. Mrs. Bennett was a homemaker and a member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Vian, Oklahoma.
Survivors are:
2 sons: Bob Bennett and wife, Sondae of Muskogee, OK and Matt Bennett and wife, Theresa of Fort Pierce, FL
2 daughters: Pam Shutts and husband, Stu of Leavenworth, KS and Shawna Allen of Muskogee, OK
5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren
3 sisters: Wilma Phillips of Jackson, AR, Virginia Garrison of Muskogee, OK and Linda Venable of Vian, OK
Daughter in law: Mona Bennett of Vian, OK
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; 1 son, Roy Bennett; her parents, William and Era Hutchings; and 1 brother, Bill Hutchings
Funeral service is Thursday, June 22, 2017 at 10 am at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Vian, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Burial will be at Box Cemetery in Vian, Oklahoma.
Viewing is Tuesday from 4 - 8 pm and Wednesday from 10 am - 8 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. The family will greet Wednesday from 4 - 6 pm at the funeral home.
