Helen Rude Barnhill was born March 17, 1925 in Hitchita, Oklahoma, the daughter of William Henry and Sylvia Katheryn (Bell) Edwards. She married Halleck Luther Barnhill on October 16, 1943 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on September 19, 1971. Mrs. Barnhill was a homemaker, worked in food service at Sparks and was a Catholic. She passed this life on January 25, 2016 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas at the age of 90.
She leaves to mourn her passing:
3 granddaughters: Janis Still of Siloam Springs, AR, Stephanie Prewett of Muldrow, OK,
and Tammara Franklin of Branch, AR
great grandchildren: Tanner Prewett, Madison Franklin, and Ryleigh Franklin
1 brother: Elmo Edwards of Del city, OK

She was preceded in death by her sons, Elmo and Mort Barnhill; her husband, Halleck Luther Barnhill and her parents, William and Sylvia Edwards
Graveside service is Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 2 pm at Roland City Cemetery.
Viewing will be Wednesday from 10 am - 8 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw. The family will greet from 6 - 8 pm.
