Mr. Bennie Edgar Barker was born May 28, 1942 in Short Community, Oklahoma. The son of Shuford Barker and Eula Iris Poindexter Barker. He married Betty Lavurn Risenhoover Barker on November 25, 1961 in
Stilwell, Oklahoma. Mr. Barker passed this life on March 11, 2008 in
Sallisaw, Oklahoma after having attained the age of
65 years, 9 months and 13 days.
He leaves to mourn his passing:
wife: Betty of the home;
1 daughter: Bobbie Reese of Muldrow, Ok.;
3 sons: Dewain Barker of Brushy, Ok., David Barker of Brushy, Ok.,
and Gary Barker of Sallisaw, Ok.;
17 grandchildren;
10 great grandchildren;
2 sisters: Shirley Gardenhire of Sallisaw, Ok.,
and Linda James of Scratchout, Ok.;
1 uncle: Benny Bilyeu of Sallisaw, Ok.;
father and mother in law: Joe and Geraldeen Risenhoover of Brushy, Ok.;
several other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Shuford and Eula Barker;
1 brother: Henry Barker; and
3 sisters: Ada Gardenhire, Nadine Barker, and Francis Pollard; | |
