Smith, Arkansas, the son of Ples Armstrong and Rosie (Pate) Armstrong.  He was the owner/operator of Ft. Smith Auto Salvage in Moffett, Oklahoma.  Mr. Armstrong passed this life on March 5, 2011 in Roland, Oklahoma after having attained the age of 84 years, 5 months and 8 days. Survivors are: beloved wife: Leona of the home 1 daughter: Janet Hodgens of Ft. Smith, Ar. 2 grandchildren: John Robert Barnes and Kellie Renee Hodgens 5 great grandchildren: Tyler, Kailey, John Jr., Brandon and Sophia 1 sister: Frances Smith of Springfield, Mo. several other relatives and friends He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother: William Armstrong
