Marjoria Christine Allen was born July 23, 1918 in Liberty Community, Oklahoma. The daughter of Ola Andrew Brooks and
Jennie Lou Johnnie Sutton Brooks. She married Dayton Hughes Allen on
August 12, 1939 in Muldrow, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on
September 27, 1988 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. She enjoyed the
Roland Nutrition Center where she was a volunteer and she also enjoyed quilting. Marjoria passed this life on September 20, 2007 in
Ft. Smith, Arkansas after having attained the age of
89 years, 1 month and 27 days.
She leaves to mourn her passing:
2 daughters: Anna Lou Wilson of Roland, Ok.,
Vala Christine Fletcher of Roland, Ok.;
1 son: J.W. Allen of Muldrow, Ok.;
13 grandchildren;
18 great grandchildren;
13 great great grandchildren;
1 brother: Andrew Brooks of Roland, Ok.;
3 sisters: Marie Nation of Ft. Smith, Ark., Glenna Hicks of Ft. Smith, Ark.,
Jane Coppler of Tulsa, Ok.;
Several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband,
1 grandson: James Wilson; 2 brothers: Edgar and Bill Brooks; and
2 sisters: Ada Griffin and Mae Buffington. |
