Billy Dale Allen was born September 12, 1934 in Ringling, Ok., the son of Aubrey Curtis "Bob" Allen and Alta Rhea Anderson Allen Newton. He was a 1953 graduate of Ryan High School. On December 3, 1954, he was married to Donna Kathryn Karcher in Shawnee, Ok. Bill and Donna resided primarily in Shawnee until he joined the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. He graduated from the 24th Academy on Sep. 14, 1968 and was assigned to the Sallisaw Detachment of Sequoyah County. Bill retired from the Highway Patrol in October of 1991. Bill loved his family and loved people. He never forgot a face and rarely forgot a name. He enjoyed making people laugh and smile. He passed this life on May 17, 2011 in Sallisaw, Ok. after having attained the age of 76 years, 8 months and 5 days.

4 grandsons: Travis, Curt and Brant Allen and Shane Taylor
4 granddaughters: Ashley Campbell, Amanda Lovern, Aubrey Horton and Alaina Friend
8 great grandchildren
brother in law: Keith Braboy and family
numerous other relatives and a host of friends
he was preceded in death by his parents:
