Eugene Wood was born July 16, 1923 in Roland, Oklahoma, the son of Robert L. Wood and Choral Smith Wood. He married Laverne Ashton Wood on August 10, 1947 in Manhattan, Ks. She preceded him in death on July 18, 2006 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Mr. Wood passed this life on May 30, 2011 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas after having attained the age of 87 years, 10 months and 14 days.
