Corene Winsett was born March 27, 1920 in Durant, Oklahoma, the daughter of Johnny Louis Moore and Cornelia Lavernia Heard Moore. She was married to Milton Bishop Winsett in July 1937. He preceded her in death in 1998. Mrs. Winsett was the owner/operator of Corene's Sweet Shop and member of First Christian Church in Sallisaw, OK. She passed this life on July 5, 2011 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma after having attained the age of 91 years, 3 months and 8 days.
